Ford Raptor Rally Adds Daniel Ricciardo As Special Guest

As Ford Authority reported back in March, The Blue Oval is bringing back the Ford Raptor Rally – which originally debuted last year – this coming October. This year, the Ford Raptor Rally will take place in Lake Havasu, Arizona, on October 24^th-25^th, and owners of Ford Ranger Raptor, Ford Bronco Raptor, and Ford F-150 Raptor models are able to bring their own vehicles along for a little curated off-road fun. Now, they’ll also get the chance to meet a former F1 driver, too.

That driver is eight-time Grand Prix winner Daniel Ricciardo, who just became a Global Ford Racing Ambassador earlier this month. Ricciardo just announced that he will be attending the Ford Raptor Rally, which makes sense given the fact that he purchased his first Ford F-150 Raptor back in 2017, and owns a Ford Bronco Raptor today. He’s one of several pro drivers and Ford team members that will be in attendance, too.

“That’s why joining Raptor Rally feels like a natural extension of my ambassadorship,” Ricciardo said. “This isn’t just an event; it’s the ultimate gathering for those who live and breathe the off-road life. I’ve heard so much about the camaraderie, the shared stories, and the joy of putting these beasts through their paces in their natural habitat. I can’t wait to experience it firsthand, to see your Raptors in action, and to meet so many of you who are just as passionate about these machines as I am.”

“I’m also excited to announce that my clothing company, Enchante, will be working with Ford to create some specialty items to celebrate Raptor Rally. For those attending, you’ll get a sneak peek at what we’re working on and maybe even a preview of what’s to come.”

Unfortunately for those that haven’t already secured tickets to the 2025 Ford Raptor Rally, that event officially sold out in early August. However, Ford did create a waitlist for those that still wish to attend, and it will be filled if and when registered attendees opt to cancel.
