2018 Ford Focus RS With 30K Miles Up For Auction

Though The Blue Oval stopped selling hot hatches in the U.S. years ago, that once red-hot segment can still be accessed via the used market. In that realm, there are quite a few Ford-branded hot hatches to choose from, many of these sporting few miles on the clock, though in certain cases, one will have to pony up a decent amount of money to bring one home. Whether or not that’s the case with this 2018 Ford Focus RS or not remains to be seen, but it’s a seemingly solid target for anyone in the market for such a vehicle.

This 2018 Ford Focus RS is up for auction at Bring a Trailer with just 30k miles on the clock, and it’s a Canadian market example that was imported into the U.S. three years ago. It looks to be in great shape, with nice Race Red and RS-specific bodywork including the rear wing, diffuser, sill extensions, and bumper covers, along with a sunroof, xenon headlights, dual exhaust outlets, and 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 225/40 Hankook Ventus V2 Concept2 tires.

Inside, one will find Charcoal Black leather and Miko Dinamica microsuede covered Recaro front bucket seats with embroidered RS emblems in the backrests, plus features such as dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, SYNC 3, a CD stereo, and an aftermarket short-throw shifter.

Under the hood lies the turbocharged 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost engine, which in this case was factory rated to produce 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, flowing to all four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox and Dynamic Torque Vectoring. A set of four-wheel disc brakes with Brembo front calipers helps slow it all down, and other features such as launch control and a sport suspension make the simple act of driving the Ford Focus RS a bit more fun.

This is just the latest nice, lower-mile Ford Focus RS we’ve spotted at auction recently, too – that list also includes a 2016 model with just 2k miles, as well as another 2018 RS, also with just over 2k miles.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
