Positioned as one of the more well-equipped and luxurious models in the 2026 Ford F-150 lineup, the Platinum trim gets a number of options that aren’t available on the rest of the lineup. Add a brand new package to Platinum trim for the latest model year: the aptly named Platinum Satin Appearance Package.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the Platinum Satin Appearance Package is all-new for the 2026 Ford F-150 Platinum. This package is optional on that particular trim, and can be added to any model with any available equipment group, including Base (700A), Standard (701A), and High (702A). Note that it’s not offered on Plus (703A) models, and cannot be combined with the FX4 Off-Road Package.
Content included in the 2026 Ford F-150 Platinum Satin Appearance Package is as follows:
- Black/Satin Hood Vents
- Luxurious Chrome Grille with Blue Oval
- Stainless Door Belt Molding
- Satin Exterior Door Handles
- 20-inch Polished Aluminum Wheel
- Satin Single Exhaust
- LED Projector Headlamps with Dynamic Bending
- Availability: included in package for 701A/702A
At the time of this writing, pricing for the Platinum Satin Appearance Package has not been revealed, and Ford has not released photos of the bundle.
Beyond the addition of the aforementioned satin-themed package, the 2026 Ford F-150 only gains a handful of minor changes and updates. That includes the addition of three new equipment groups: King Ranch 600A, Platinum 700A, and Tremor 402B. The 600A and 700A groups are positioned as a more affordable addition to the King Ranch and Platinum lineups, while the 402B serves as a mid-range version of the off-road-ready Tremor trim.
The pickup also gains three new colors known as Avalanche, Argon Blue Metallic, and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat. Meanwhile, rear-wheel-drive (RWD) has been added to three trims, while the XLT trim gets the new Chrome Package.
As a reminder, buyers of the 2026 Ford F-150 Platinum are entitled to a number of benefits similar to the Black Label perks offered on certain Lincoln models.
