New Ford World Headquarters Grand Opening Takes Place Next Month

As Ford Authority reported back in September, The Blue Oval will demolish its existing Ford world headquarters - otherwise known as the "Glass House" - and move into a brand new, state of the art facility at the upgraded and reimagined Dearborn product development campus, officially known as the Henry Ford II World Center, starting this November. The purpose of this change is to create a more modern facility in an attempt to attract the very best talent. Now, we know precisely when the grand opening for the new Ford world headquarters will be.

Ford has announced that it will host a grand opening for its new HQ on One American Road on November 16th, 2025, which will take place from 11am-4:30pm. The event is open to the public and free to attend, and will offer up all kinds of cool activities, including immersive tours of the brand new facility. There will also be various installations open around the campus for attendees to check out.

Additionally, Ford's grand opening event will feature live entertainment, vendors selling a variety of goods, food trucks, and a car show. "Help mark the historic opening of Ford’s new World Headquarters (WHQ) in Dearborn, Michigan, by showcasing your special Ford vehicle in a car show for the ages," the automaker wrote. "The Ford Community Car Show will give the public a unique opportunity to see privately-owned Ford treasures - from pristine classics to creative custom designs, sports models to heavy-duty trucks. We want to show off the full range of the Ford experience: build, thrill, adventure, elevate!"

For those that wish to attend the new Ford world headquarters grand opening event, registration is available by heading over here - or, for those that want to participate in the car show, they can also sign up here. Anyone that wishes to take the self-guided tour of the new facility must indicate their interest to do so, however, as those spots are currently limited.
