Expected Models
The following models are expected to be based on the Ford CE1 platform:
- Compact crossover (similar to current Ford Escape)
- Midsize crossover (similar to Ford Edge or Mustang Mach-E)
- “Midsize-plus” three-row crossover (similar to Ford Explorer)
- Pickup (similar to current Ford Maverick)
- Cargo van (similar to Ford Transit Connect cargo van)
- Passenger van (similar to Ford Transit Connect passenger van)

Powertrain
The Ford CE1 platform will be capable of supporting a wide variety of electric batteries and motors.
Availability
Vehicles based on the Ford CE1 platform are expected to become available for the 2027 calendar year. Models based on this new vehicle architecture will be made available globally.
Predecessor
The Ford CE1 platform replaces the Ford GE1 platform, which underpins the first-generation Ford Mustang Mach-E.
