Ford Motor Company recently got together with 57 of its top global suppliers at the 18th annual World Excellence Awards, recognizing the contributions of its best and brightest equipment manufacturers in eleven different key areas.
"Ford’s World Excellence Awards allow us to recognize suppliers who demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, performance and teamwork," says Ford Group VP of Global Purchasing Hau Thai-Tang. "These award-winning companies have helped Ford deliver a breakthrough year, and we are thankful they are part of our One Ford team."
Ford's awards to its supplier brands were doled out for things like exemplifying the automaker's core "pillars" ("Quality", "Green", "Safe," and "Smart"), displaying extraordinary quality, value, and innovation (honored in a category named "Aligned Business Framework"), and leading with regard to ethnic and gender diversity ("Diverse Supplier of the Year" and "Supplier Diversity Development Corporation of the Year").
There was also a "Special Recognition" category for suppliers that exceeded expectations, a "Lincoln Luxury" category for a supplier which positively affected Ford's luxury division, and "Gold" and "Silver" categories for OEM brands that exhibited extraordinary quality, delivery, and cost performance.
Here are all of Ford's award-winning suppliers for 2016:

It sold out twice after launching earlier this month, apparently.
Good news as rates have skyrocketed in recent years.
