Yesterday, Roush Performance announced that its full line of high-performance, 2017 Ford Mustang models is now available for order, and if you’d gotten to feeling as though the market had failed to provide an option for your fuel-sipping EcoBoost model, you may want to keep reading.
The Roush Stage 1 Ford Mustang takes Ford’s excellent EcoBoost-powered pony car up a notch with a range of handling and cosmetic upgrades. Standard on the new 2017 model is Roush’s unique R7 Aero Body Component Package, which includes revised front fascia, high-flow upper and lower grilles, front chin splitter, and performance driving lamps. Also standard are a Roush Dual-Tip Performance Exhaust and an “RS1” Strut-Tower Brace for improved cornering rigidity.
Buyers of the Roush Stage 1 Ford Mustang also have the option of stepping-up to a Quad-Tip Exhaust system, or even Roush’s customizable Active Exhaust kit, which allows the owner to program a set of volume-controlling valves with a smart device. Further options include 20-inch polished wheels, billet driving pedals, leather seating, a hood strut lift assist kit, and further R7 Aero Body pieces like a rear decklid spoiler, hood scoop, body side scoops, flowing rocker panels, and a rear blackout panel with “Roush” lettering.
Finally, of course, there is a range of new graphics options for the 2017 Stage 1 Ford Mustang, with matching matte-black hood and side graphics available.
The 2017 Roush Stage 1 Ford Mustang EcoBoost is joined by the GT-based Stage 2 and Stage 3 models, as well as the V6-based “RS.” All four of these models are available through any Roush-authorized dealer in the United States.
