Meet the Schropp Tuning SF600R: Germany’s take on a tuned, high-performance Ford Mustang.
To make this car, Schropp Tuning took a run-of-the-mill Ford Mustang GT and wrung an awesome 807 horsepower out of it through through a mix of supercharging, exhaust upgrades, and software tuning. Many of the engine internals have been beefed-up to support the 5.0L Coyote’s new, high-stress life, with upgraded items including upgraded cylinder sleeves, low-compression pistons, stronger connecting rods, and a steel billet crankshaft.
The sports exhaust system on Schropp Tuning’s 807-horsepower Mustang boasts four-branch manifolds, 3-inch tubing, and HJS Tuning catalytic converters, all of which help purge spent gases more efficiently. Plenty else outside the motor has changed, as well, with Schropp fitting its potent Mustang with an upgraded propshaft and driveshafts, a carbon-fiber front strut brace, KW V3 coilover suspension package, and drilled-and-slotted StopTech brakes.
The American Ford Mustang owner is spoiled for choice when it comes to high-performance tuning options, with Roush, Saleen, Hennessey, and other firms all fighting to take owners’ hard-earned cash and convert it into extra horsepower. We’re just glad to know that the German Mustang fan has solid options available to him, as well.
