Refreshed 2025 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands Potentially Spotted

Last November, Ford Authority spotted what appeared to be a refreshed 2025 Ford Bronco Sport model out testing, as the crossover was clad in heavy camouflage. This would make sense given the fact that the rugged crossover debuted for the 2021 model year, meaning that it’s likely time for a few updates. A few weeks later, Ford Authority also spotted the interior of the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport for the first time, which featured a few notable changes as well. Now, Ford Authority has spotted what seems to be a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands prototype out being evaluated, too.

While this potential 2025 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands is once again covered in heavy camo – at least at the front and rear ends – it’s also wearing unpainted versions of the 17-inch Carbonized Gray wheels that are included as standard equipment on the current Badlands model – which are different than what adorned the aforementioned prototype spied last year. However, this also means that the previous prototype may instead be some sort of new range-topping variant that could take the place of the Badlands in the Bronco Sport lineup, too.

We say that because the older prototype was riding a bit higher than the current Badlands – as well as this model – and it was equipped with unique wheels and beefy tires, to boot. As such, it’s possible that this development signals Ford is thinking about creating a new, more capable version of the Bronco Sport, perhaps even one that slots above the Badlands in that lineup. On the non-Sport Bronco, that model is called the Bronco Raptor.

Otherwise, in this case, we can still see the familiar round headlights peeking through that camo, which are likely complemented by some updates to the lighting, grille, and/or front bumper that could also be mimicked out back with a revised tailgate, taillight, and/or bumper design. As Ford Authority recently reported, the Bronco Sport will continue to ride on the on the Ford C2 platform through 2030, with a product end date of July 31st, 2031 – an 11-year production run,  albeit one that should be buoyed by updates such as refreshes and redesigns along the way.

We’ll have more on the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Bronco Sport news and ongoing Ford news coverage.
