Ford Employee Pricing Wiped Out Incentives For Some Models: Report

The Ford employee pricing for everyone plan launched just last week, which does precisely what it sounds like – provides all U.S.-based customers with the chance to purchase a new vehicle at special Blue Oval worker pricing. However, there are quite a few models that aren’t eligible to receive this discount, and as Ford Authority previously reported, not all dealers are required to participate, either. On top of all that, it seems as if some models actually got more expensive as a result of the new Ford employee pricing for everyone plan, too.

According to CarsDirect, FoMoCo “quietly canceled thousands of dollars in rebates and raised interest rates in a big way” at the same time it rolled out the Ford employee pricing for everyone plan, which makes it less appealing than previously thought. For starters, Ford ditched promo financing rates on virtually every model in the lineup, meaning that the 2024 Ford Escape, Ford Expedition, and Ford Mustang can now only be financed at standard rates – previously, one could score financing on the Escape for as little as 1.9 percent, but now, it’ll set them back as much as 7 percent, for example.

Rebates have also been cut on most models – by as much as $5,000, too. The 2024 Ford Expedition saw its Customer Cash decline from $7,000 to $2,000, while the 2025 Escape PHEV dropped from $9,000 to $5,000. The Ford Mustang Mach-E experienced a drop in lease cash – from $8,000 down to $3,750 – too. Ford spokesperson Said Deep confirmed that some changes were made in this regard, but stated that “the selling price with this new program dramatically changed – in a positive way – the price for customers.”

As Ford Authority previously reported, there are also several models that are excluded from this program – the Ford Ranger Raptor, Ford Bronco Raptor, and Ford F-150 Raptor, as well as “specialty” Ford Mustang (Dark Horse and GTD) and Ford Bronco (Stroppe Edition) models, the redesigned 2025 Ford Expedition and 2025 Lincoln Navigator, the 2025 Ford Super Duty lineup, F-450 and F-550 Chassis Cabs, E-450 Cutaway and E-450 Stripped Chassis, F-53 Class A Motorhome Chassis and F59 Commercial Stripped Chassis, plus the F-650 and F-750 Chassis Cab.

  • So that explains that. I've been seeing higher prices after this program. And it's only on '24s. Lousy deal. Figures.

    • WHINE WHINE WHINE. Let me guess, you're not in the market regardless of ANY 'deal', right?

    • Who wants a 6 cylinder in a truck though? Don't care if it's a turbo. Thanks Green New Scam!

  • I went to a local Ford dealership and was looking at a 24 f150 XLT and the rebates were good and the vehicle ended up being $51,000 after rebates and covering my negative on my trade in...
Now that same vehicle with the employee pricing is now $55,000 as it has less rebates and incentives... SMH Ford ..

  • I was looking at a f150 in math and it has a $8000 discounts and I knew about the Ford pricing coming in April and waited to buy and now there is only $4000 off the price. All crooks.
