2026 Ford Mustang Drops Two Colors

The 2026 Ford Mustang offers a diverse color palette, ranging from classic blacks and grays to flashy blues and yes, even orange. But while there are 10 colors are on offer, the pony car moved on from two colors that were formerly included on the options list for the 2025 model year.

Those two colors are Intense Lime Yellow Metallic and Wimbledon White. Intense Lime Yellow (paint code B7) had a short run – it was first introduced for the 2025 Mustang, added to the lineup as part of Job 2 production, which began in late February 2025. It was a $295 extra offered on the pony car, and was only available in conjunction with the Carmine Red interior colorway. Its availability was also limited to EcoBoost and GT, meaning it was not able to be added to the Mustang Dark Horse. Now, though, it’s not offered on the 2026 Ford Mustang at all.

Wimbledon White

Wimbledon White was also short-lived. The color, which is a classic Ford hue, was reintroduced to the 2025 Mustang as part of the exclusive 60th Anniversary Edition model. It was paired with side stripes, Silver-painted mirror caps, and Bright Machined Aluminum wheels, and other exclusive interior and exterior accents. However, now that the 60th Anniversary Edition is no longer available, Wimbledon White has made its exit, too – although it could very well return as a heritage color again in the future.

Replacing Intense Yellow Lime and Wimbledon White are two new hues: Adriatic Blue Metallic and Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat. At the time of this writing, Ford has not provided any images of these new hues aside from the FX package photos.

Other changes on their way to the 2026 Ford Mustang include a new a flash of color in the form of optional seatbelts. Those seatbelts will be offered in Orange, Prime Blue, and Black with a red stripe, decorating the pony car’s interior like a sash. Ford hasn’t revealed availability for these colored seat belts yet.

  4. It’s the least good looking mustang ever! Needs to get back to the true original design. Not about the wheels and not about the paint. It’s the design and is why your selling more Mustang EV’S.

  5. Orange Fury Metallic Tri-coat sounds like it will be a very good color. If it is as it sounds, a candy color, then it is very appropriate for 2026. German monochrome palletes are so 2000-2010.
