The sixth-generation Ford Bronco has a tremendous number of parts and accessories available for purchase via the Ford Performance catalog, in addition to the ever-burgeoning aftermarket. Bronco owners certainly have a plethora of ways they can customize their rugged SUVs to look different, offer up more in the way of tech, increase power, or just improve that model’s off-road capability. Now, new heavy-duty tie rod kits help address a known weak spot in the newest Ford Bronco.
These new heavy-duty tie rod kits are listed under two different part numbers in the Ford Performance catalog – M-3200-TRL for the left side, and M-3200-TRR for the right side. Both are priced at $70 each, and are designed to replace the factory tie rods – but are also specifically designed to work with the upgraded steering rack that debuted back in February 2024.
As Ford Authority previously reported, 2024 Ford Bronco Badlands and Sasquatch Package-equipped models added the beefed-up steering gear present in the H.O.S.S. 3.0 suspension system as standard equipment, a move that reportedly stemmed from customer feedback regarding concerns over tie rods breaking out on the trails, as well as Trail Turn Assist causing modified Broncos to suffer from broken axle welds.
Ford later clarified that customers installing things like larger wheels and tires and other modifications on their Broncos should ensure that they’re upgrading every aspect of their suspension along with it – or if they don’t plan on doing so, it’s best to avoid using Trail Turn Assist. Alternatively, Ford Bronco owners can now purchase these upgraded parts if they plan to do some heavy wheeling. It’s a similar move to what we’ve seen with the Ford Bronco Raptor, which has gained beefy shock tower skid plates and a fuel tank skid plate as of late.

Why not just say it was standard equipment on the Wildtrak? Hehe
