2018 Ford Focus RS With Only 2K Miles Up For Auction

The hot hatch, as we know it, has largely disappeared from the automotive world in recent years, which is a big shame for folks that appreciate a reasonably-priced, fun to drive, and practical mode of transportation. Luckily, there are lots of nice, lower-mile versions of the high-performance Ford Focus RS still out there for the taking, with that particular model surfacing at auction on a regular basis. Now, this very low-mile 2018 Ford Focus RS is up for grabs, too, and it's sure to appeal to anyone that appreciates a good old fashioned hot hatch.

This 2018 Ford Focus RS is up for auction at Cars & Bids with just 2,300 miles on the clock, leaving it in nearly new condition. In fact, the car only has one flaw noted in the auction listing - a ding in the rear - and that's it. Otherwise, we're looking at a basically flawless example of the Focus RS finished in Race Red with forged 19-inch wheels, Brembo front brakes with blue calipers, a sunroof, and RS-specific bodywork that lends the Focus RS its sporty looks.

Inside, one will find an equally sanitary Charcoal Black interior fitted with heated front power-adjustable Recaro seats finished in leather and suede, a heated steering wheel (that's an aftermarket piece), and a rear-view camera.

In terms of power, that comes from the the turbocharged 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost engine, which was factory rated to produce 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, flowing to all four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox and Dynamic Torque Vectoring. Other features such as launch control and a sport suspension make the simple act of driving the Ford Focus RS a bit more enjoyable, too.

In addition to this ultra-nice Ford Focus RS, we've spotted a few other stellar examples as of late - a list that includes a 2016 model with less than 2k miles, and a 2017 with only 700 miles.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. The flaw is black wheels. Who’d have thought 7 years later these hideous things are still being introed?
