Ford F-150 Dark Trail Package Revealed

Back at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, The Blue Oval debuted its new Ford Custom Garage packages, many of which were reserved for the Ford Bronco. This new line is designed to offer owners an easy method to customize their ride in a variety of ways via limited-edition packages that will evolve over time. One of those packages was called the Dark Trail Series, available in both Matte Black and Titanium Gray, each joining the Ford Performance catalog last November. Now, the Ford F-150 Dark Trail Package has joined them.

The all-new Ford F-150 Dark Trail Package is now listed for sale in the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-F150-W7, with a retail price tag of $3,350. It's designed to give the Ford F-150 a unique look via various appearance upgrades, which consist of a Dark Trail bodyside graphic, a rocker panel aero shield delete, and 18x7.5-inch matte black wheels with black lug nuts. Additionally, the package includes a Ford Performance off-road suspension upgrade to help make it more capable on unpaved surfaces.

It is worth noting that customers who purchase the Ford F-150 Dark Trail Package must also buy a couple of things separately - including tires, as well as the Ford Performance ProCal Tool, listed for sale under part number M-12655-F. It's also only compatible with 2024-2025 Ford F-150 SuperCrew models with the 5.5 or 6.5-foot bed, and can't be installed on two-wheel drive pickups, those equipped with Continuous Controlled Damping, the F-150 Raptor and Lightning, or trucks with the 3.5L V6 PowerBoost hybrid powertrain or Heavy-Duty Payload Package.

Otherwise, the Ford F-150 Dark Trail Package is backed by the Ford Performance three-year, 36,000-mile warranty when installed by a Ford dealer or ASE/Red Seal certified technician - though it must be registered for warranty coverage with Ford Performance for that to apply.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. Not the true price of the package if you still have to buy separately additional items. What a farce for a wheel and stripe package.

  4. The $3,350 retail price is the parts MSRP only. It does not include the labor to install the parts, or the tires and calibration kit as others have noted.
