Impatient Ford Bronco Driver Beaches SUV On Rock: Video

While the Ford Bronco was designed to tackle all sorts of tough off-road conditions – whether that be muddy trails or giant jagged rocks – it’s safe to say that most folks who own one aren’t exactly using it for that purpose. Even though the sixth-generation Bronco is indeed very capable off-road, only a select few owners take it to such places on a regular basis, while most are simply used as basic forms of transportation. In spite of its capabilities, tackling obstacles in the Ford Bronco also requires a bit of care and skill, though it appears this owner lacks both.

In this video recently posted to Reddit, we get an up front seat to the action, which begins with a Ford Bronco Heritage Edition waiting to turn right behind a white sedan that doesn’t seem to be in a huge hurry to pull out in front of oncoming traffic. Thus, as the sedan starts to creep forward, the Bronco owner has a bright idea – why not use this rugged SUV as intended, and just drive right over that big rock off the side of the road?

Things go OK at first, as the Bronco clears the rock with no problem, but that’s when disaster strikes. Once the front tire hits the ground, the SUV is high-centered on the rock and unable to move, leaving the driver in a precarious – and embarrassing – situation. With any luck, the owner didn’t damage anything underneath, and perhaps this can go down as just a great lesson in what not to do with one’s SUV.

He tried to flex, life made him fold.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a Ford Bronco driver try and drive over something with little success, of course. A little over a year ago, someone that stole some items from a store in Canada returned to the scene of the crime, only to be met by police – which he promptly tried to drive over, though that didn’t end well, either.
