Ford Motor Company is recalling select units of the 2025 Ford Bronco and 2025 Ford Ranger over an issue with the vehicles’ windshields.
The defect: in affected vehicles, the windshield may not have been properly bonded during the manufacturing process, increasing its risk of detaching in a crash. Affected vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 212, “Windshield Mounting.”
The hazards: if the windshield detaches during a crash, it can increase the risk of injury to vehicle occupants.
Ford is aware of one warranty claim pertaining to this issue. Ford is not aware of any accident, injury, or fire related to this condition.

Affected vehicles: select units of the 2025 Ford Bronco produced between June 9th and June 11th, 2025; select units of the 2025 Ford Ranger produced on June 10th, 2025.
Number of affected vehicles: 9
The fix: dealers will replace the windshield, free of charge to vehicle owners.
Owners should: wait for communications from Ford, which will begin on October 20th, 2025. The Ford reference number for this recall is 25C52.
