The Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition debuted for the 2025 model year as a tribute to the legendary Bill Stroppe, who built his own off-road racer that went on to score a victory at the Baja 1000 in 1969. That model effectively replaced the discontinued Wildtrak in the Bronco lineup, and notably, was only offered in two-door guise with its unique Atlas Blue, Oxford White, and Code Orange livery, plus the turbocharged 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine and 10-speed automatic transmission as standard. Now, however, the 2026 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition is being treated to a pretty big change.
That change, according to Bronco Nation, is that the 2026 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition has switched to four-door only guise, and will no longer be offered as a two-door model. That should certainly make the 2025 model a bit of a future collectible, but it also leaves two-door fans with just two trim level options – the Base and Badlands – which is quite disappointing for those who appreciate that particular body style.
As for the rest of the 2026 Ford Bronco lineup, it’s getting a few tweaks for the new model year, too. Those include – perhaps most notably – the addition of the new 60th Anniversary Package, which gets a set of standard wheelbase-length running boards, 17-inch Gravity Gray alloy wheels, an array of Vermillion Red accents, retro styling elements, and can be had in Wimbledon White or Ruby Red. Either way, the special model also comes with a hard-center rear tire cover painted in Wimbledon White with a Vermillion Red Bronco logo.
The Anniversary Package also comes with a new set of A-pillar mounted grab handles, which are included as standard with the package and are also available as an option across the rest of the lineup. However, as Ford Authority previously reported, those A-pillar mounted grab handles can’t be retrofitted to older Ford Bronco models, which is a bummer for owners that covet such an option.
