The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E debuted for the U.S. market almost one year ago, a notable unveiling given the many changes that are present in the EV crossover for the latest model year. The 2025 Mustang Mach-E has also since debuted in other markets like Europe, but for reasons unknown, not Australia, where the same model has been on sale for a while now. Now, the updated Ford Mustang Mach-E has finally arrived in that part of the world, giving customers there the chance to score a vehicle with some truly compelling tweaks compared to previous model years.
According to CarExpert, the updated Ford Mustang Mach-E has arrived in Australia as a 2026 model year vehicle, in fact. It’s getting the same sorts of updates as the Mach-E sold in the rest of the world, which include some minor exterior tweaks. The Select trim now gets the same headlights as the Premium and GT, while the lineup is being treated to new wheel designs. The Premium gets matte black bumper cladding and body-color wheel arches, while the GT is equipped with a new front grille. Exterior color options now consist of Velocity Blue, Molten Magenta, Glacier Grey, Grabber Yellow, Terrain, and Eruption Green.
Inside the cabin, the old rotary gear selector has been replaced by a steering-column unit, while the whole lineup gets 10-way power adjustable seats up front. The entire range also gets a standard heat pump, designed to mitigate range loss in cold weather, though it also reduces the amount of space present inside the frunk. The Select and Premium have been treated to suspension tweaks to help improve ride quality, too.
The Australian 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E is available to order now, with deliveries slated to begin by the end of this month. However, prices have increased across the board, too – by $1,000 for the entry-level Select, and $500 for the Premium and GT.
