The Changan Ford Hangzhou assembly plant is manufacturing center for the Ford Motor Company under the Changan Ford administration. Located the city of Hangzhou, the capital and populous city of the Zhejiang Province in East China, the Hangzhou plant currently overseas the production of the Ford Edge and Ford Taurus destined for Chinese and global markets.
When combined with the Changan Ford automobile assembly plant 1, assembly plant 2 and the Chongqing Automobile engine plant, the Changan Ford Hangzhou assembly plant is Ford’s largest manufacturing center outside Detroit, with facilities located in Chongqing, Hangzhou and Harbin, employing more than 15,000 people.
