In the latest instalment of YouTube series Regular Car Reviews, Mr. “Regular Cars” himself tackles a vehicle now ten years of age: the 2006 Ford F-150 Supercab.
The Ford F-150 Supercab slots between the Extended Cab and Crew Cab trucks in terms of size. The former of these body styles had a rear row of small jumper seats, while the latter had full-size seats and rear doors to open up to them. The Supercab had only smaller “suicide” doors giving access to the rear row seating. This particular example of the Ford F-150 Supercab is bone stock apart from a Flowmaster exhaust, and the owner keeps the topper on year-round for (allegedly) better aerodynamics and weight balance.
Bear in mind: if you’re anticipating a serious, thorough review of the 2006 Ford F-150, Regular Car Reviews is not where you’ll find it. As-is custom for the series, this “review” is more of a humorous dissection of the Ford F-150’s symbolic cultural meaning than an examination of features, design, or performance.
