For America’s youth, surely there are few more desirable Ford models than the Mustang pony car or the F-150 half-ton pickup.
Now, America’s youth can print their own, in a manner of speaking; according to website 3DPrint.com, PieceMaker has signed a deal to begin printing Ford Mustangs and F-150s at their on-site kiosks nationwide.
PieceMaker 3D-printing kiosks can be found at Toys “R” Us locations nationwide, and they will soon begin offering Ford F-150 and Mustang toy models with selectable body and wheel colors. The Ford F-150 toy is currently being tested and finalized, and will be offered in 3 different body styles: Traditional, Baja, or Sport. The company’s 3D-printable Ford Mustang toy is expected to be unveiled in the coming months, according to our source.
“We are tremendously excited to work with Ford to bring their iconic F-150 and Mustang into the exciting world of in-store 3D printing,” said PieceMaker CEO Arden Rosenblatt. “Ford is once again demonstrating its innovation leadership by working with PieceMaker to incorporate cutting-edge 3D technology into kids’ everyday lives.”
