The all-new, 2017 Lincoln Continental sedan is the star of a new photographic series by acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz, which started appearing on social media Monday and is slated to feature in high-end print publications.
Wearing the tagline “That’s Continental,” the new portfolio of Lincoln Continental pics features a bold, cool color palette and unconventional framing. This is the first foray into automotive photography for Annie Leibovitz, whose past accolades include covers for Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair. She used four non-professional models, shooting in and around New York City while drawing upon “memories of childhood trips and the romance of the open road” for inspiration, according to Lincoln.
“We partnered with the world’s pre-eminent portrait photographer to launch the new Lincoln flagship,” says Lincoln Motor Company President Kumar Galhotra. “Annie Leibovitz is a photographer of substance. The rich, warm emotions her photos evoke, mirror the feelings we want our clients to experience on all their journeys in the new Lincoln Continental.”
The Lincoln Continental is all-new for 2017, reviving a nameplate last seen in 2002. The full-size luxury sedan first went on sale earlier this year.
It's a surprisingly long process.
Another nice example of the full-size luxury SUV.
Well, at least they used a blinker...
Cheaper to order separately, if you want to install it yourself.
