The folks over at California-based car care outfit Chemical Guys are back with a new video, showing us how to clean up a set of matte-finish wheels using the same zombie-themed Media Monsters Ford Mustang the company featured in a video in late-January.
Matte finishes require extra care when it comes to cleaning because with some products and processes, one runs the risk of making the finish shiny. For such surfaces, Chemical Guys offers its “Meticulous Matte Detailer,” which safely cleans matte finishes without altering them. For the Mustang wheels the blokes at Chemical Guys tackle in this video, they also use one of their “Happy Ending Edgeless Microfiber Towels,” designed to pick up and remove surface contaminants without scratching or marring surfaces.
