The lack of discount offers for the Lincoln Aviator during July 2022 is the result of the crossover seeing healthy demand and tight supply, a circumstance brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is also worth noting that Lincoln parent, Ford Motor Company, continues to grapple with ongoing supply shortages, including but not limited to the microchip shortage. This turn of events has caused the automaker to selectively allocate supplies to its more profitable models, such as full-size trucks and SUVs.

For reference, here are the 2022 Lincoln Aviator trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, including the destination and acquisition fee:

• Standard – $53,340
• Reserve – $58,505
• Grand Touring – $69,190
• Black Label – $80,725
• Black Label Grand Touring – $89,280

It is also worth noting that the 2022 Lincoln Aviator received several updates for the Chinese market, with most of the changes being focused on the crossover’s interior. In addition, sources familiar with the matter have told Ford Authority that the North American version of the 2023 Lincoln Aviator will receive some minor updates ahead of a potential refresh for the 2024 model year. The refresh will undoubtedly make the Aviator a more attractive product, which in turn should increase demand. However, that will only be helpful if FoMoCo can boost supply and production volume.
