Blue Oval fans have certainly had their fair share of cool new diecast collectibles to choose from over the past few months, a list that includes the all-new S650 generation 2024 Ford Mustang, a Ford Mustang Mach-E New York City taxi cab, the 1986 Ford Taurus from Tommy Boy, the retro-themed Ford Bronco Heritage, plus the 1948 Ford Deluxe convertible and 1949 Mercury that appeared in the movie Grease, to name just a few. Now, fans of the 1946 Ford Super De Luxe that starred in the popular TV show Home Improvement will soon get their chance to score a miniature replica of that small screen star as well, thanks to Greenlight Collectibles.
This new offering is part of the soon-to-be-released 1:64 Hollywood Series 40 collection, which is tentatively scheduled to launch this August. The addition of this limited-edition 1946 Ford Super De Luxe from Home Improvement helps to expand Greenlight’s existing “Hollywood Series” and features some truly impressive detailing including its rubber tires, along with a metal body and chassis, which makes sense given the fact that it’s an officially licensed product. The small replica also comes in custom themed packaging.
This cool TV star diecast recreation is expected to release a bit earlier than the other models in the Hollywood Series 40 collection – sometime in June or July – though as usual, that date is subject to change. It will retail for a very reasonable $7.99 however, which makes it pretty easy for Home Improvement superfans to add it to their collections.

1:64 scale? What a waste. 1:18 or nothing.
