In recent years, we’ve seen more and more hackers gain access to the social media accounts of various well-known entities – including big companies such as Ford. The Blue Oval has had its Twitter/X account hacked in the past, in fact, and that’s on top of various other data breaches that have occurred at the hands of the same types of folks, too. Just yesterday, the same thing apparently happened again, as Ford’s X account briefly went rogue and posted some messages that had quite a few folks up in arms, it seems.
Those messages have since been deleted, but as we can see here, they included posts saying things like “Free Palestine,” “All Eyes on Gaza,” and “Israel is a terrorist state,” which quickly caused quite the uproar across that social media platform, as well as others. Ford later seemingly regained control of its X account and released a statement condemning those messages, too.
“Our X account was briefly compromised and three posts were made that were not authorized or posted by Ford,” the automaker said in that statement. “They do not represent the views of Ford Motor Company. Ford and X are investigating this breach.”
Ford – among others – protested somewhat a couple of years ago when Tesla CEO Elon Musk purchased Twitter by opting not to run advertisements on that platform any more, and also considered not using it at all. However, the automaker resumed posting on what’s now known as X not too long afterward, and continues to do so today – though it has altered its overall ad policy quite a bit in recent years, too.

That wasn't compromised. That was the ghost of Henry Ford.
Yes, too many people aren't aware of old Hank's anti-semitism.
There are two things you can be absolutely certain of about the hackers who did that. One they are not very bright. Two they have never been to Gaza or to Israel.
