Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2024-2025 Ford Bronco models over an issue with the control arms.
The defect: in affected vehicles, the front lower control arm fasteners may not have been tightened properly, allowing the control arm to detach from the frame.
The hazards: a detached control arm can cause a loss of vehicle steering and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Ford is not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries related to this issue.

Affected vehicles: select 2024-2025 Ford Bronco SUVs produced between November 14th, 2024, and January 22nd, 2025.
Number of vehicles affected: 3
The fix: owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until they have been repaired. Dealers will inspect and verify that the lower control arm fasteners are tightened properly. If a fastener is loose or missing, the dealer will replace the fastener. Repairs will be performed free of charge.
Owners should: wait for communications from Ford, which will begin on May 19th, 2025. The Ford reference number for this recall is 25S48.
