Throughout its 53-year existence, Motorcraft has racked up a reputation among Ford techs, owners, and enthusiasts as the most trusted supplier of parts for Blue Oval vehicles. The manufacturer already produces more than 17,000 individual part numbers for all manner of Ford and Lincoln models – and it’s about to add a host of new parts to its catalog.
Throughout the 2025 calendar year, Motorcraft will release 350 new part numbers to its portfolio, all of which are considered high-volume, or extremely popular. Most of them are geared toward Ford Pro commercial customers. That list includes the Ford F-150, Ford Super Duty, Ford Transit, and Ford Police Interceptor Utility, all of which are heavily favored by fleet customers.
All Motorcraft parts are subject to rigorous testing to ensure they can handle what fleet customers ask of them, and the manufacturer goes above and beyond during this process. For example, while brake products are not required to meet federal motor vehicle safety standards, Motorcraft makes sure they do anyway. This testing process includes stressing the parts well beyond the kind of wear and tear they’d likely encounter, making sure that they hold up under even the most extreme conditions.
Parts can be accessed through a variety of channels. That includes, of course, Ford and Lincoln parts departments, but also authorized third-party dealers. The manufacturer is also offering parts for models that don’t wear a Blue Oval or Lincoln Star, too, including wiper blades, batteries, spark plugs, and filters. Additionally, Motorcraft backs up its products with a two-year warranty.
Beyond the U.S., Motorcraft is available in global markets, too. In fact, the manufacturer expanded its portfolio in Brazil to over 9,000 parts a few years ago. Its logo is a familiar sight in motorsports. It’s appeared on NASCAR race cars and straight-line racers alike, appealing to a market that asks more from their vehicle than the average driver.
