After firing up the 2025 Ford Mustang, the second button many drivers go for is the audio system to crank up the tunes for their daily commutes (or Sunday drive). Today, Ford Authority is outlining all of the audio systems packed into the 2025 Mustang, including availability, pricing, and how to get each one.
Six-Speaker Audio System
The base audio system features six speakers interspersed throughout the 2025 Ford Mustang interior. This system is standard fare on the EcoBoost and GT trims.
Nine-Speaker Audio System With Amplifier
The nine-speaker audio system also features an amplifier, offering an upgraded experience over the entry level six-speaker system. This system is standard on the 2025 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium, but can be added to the EcoBoost and GT models as part of the High Package equipment groups, which cost $2,195 and $2,300, respectively.
12-Speaker B&O Sound System With Subwoofer
The 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen (B&O) sound system, which includes a subwoofer, is offered as an optional upgrade on the EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium trims, while it’s standard on all Dark Horse variants. It’s a $1,160 upgrade on the aforementioned Premium trims, and adds no extra cost to the Dark Horse. Note that it requires the $1,295 Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ package also be equipped.
In fact, the 2025 Ford Mustang enjoys expanded availability of this sound system for the first time. Previously, it could only be acquired as part of the High Package for EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium trims, but is now offered as a standalone option for the price mentioned above.
Changes implemented for the 2025 Mustang include the addition of standard dual-zone climate control across the board, while it moved on from wireless charging and the EcoBoost High Performance Package. Production of the 2025 Ford Mustang has been in full swing since it began in November 2024 at the Flat Rock Assembly plant in Michigan. Pricing for the pony car starts at $33,610, including destination freight charges, for the entry level 2025 Mustang EcoBoost.
