For many drivers, the perfect playlist or podcast can make or break the daily grind, and that means an audio system can be a big consideration when shopping for a new ride. Luckily, the 2025 Ford Super Duty offers a variety of sound systems across its trim levels, from basic setups to more premium sound experiences. Ford Authority breaks down each audio system by availability, including what you’ll get with each one.
Base Sound System
The most basic sound system is standard fare on the 2025 Ford Super Duty XLT and XLT. This system includes four speakers for Regular Cab models, while SuperCab and Crew Cab models get six speakers. This audio system features AM/FM stereo functionality, along with MP3 capabilities. These trims also feature the Sync 4 infotainment system, governed by an eight-inch touchscreen, offering smartphone connectivity for media by way of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Eight-Speaker B&O Sound System
The 2025 Ford Super Duty Lariat gets the eight-speaker Bang & Olufsen (B&O) sound system as standard. That setup includes a subwoofer, piping sound from a variety of sources. As with the XL and XLT trim, the 2025 Super Duty Lariat includes Sync 4 software running Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, although this trim – and all subsequent trims – feature a 12-inch touchscreen. It also offers SiriusXM satellite radio, and includes a three-month prepaid subscription; buyers must pay for a service extension if they want to continue using it beyond that time period.
B&O Unleashed Sound System
The B&O Unleashed sound system is standard fare on the 2025 Ford Super Duty King Ranch and Platinum trims. This premium sound system brings 14 speakers including a subwoofer to the Super Duty for no extra cost, and is also controlled by the 12-inch touchscreen with smartphone connectivity as mentioned above. Both of these trims also get SiriusXM along with HD Radio capabilities. While the B&O Unleashed Sound System does not add any cost to the King Ranch or Platinum models, it is offered as an optional, extra-cost upgrade for the Super Duty Lariat as part of the $5,075 Lariat Ultimate Package.
As a reminder, the 2025 Super Duty Platinum was treated a bit of its own refresh that included the addition of the Platinum Plus package, along with a handful of other tweaks. Ford also changed up 2025 Ford Super Duty engine availability: the gas 6.8L V8 is now standard equipment on the XL, XLT, and Lariat trims, while the gas 7.3L V8 is standard on the King Ranch and Platinum. Despite those changes, pricing for the heavy duty pickup remained largely the same.
