2026 Ford Bronco Gets New A-Pillar Mounted Grab Handles

The sixth-generation Ford Bronco debuted for the 2021 model year, bringing back a beloved nameplate after a quarter-century absence. However, since then, the reborn model hasn’t been treated to any sort of mid-cycle refresh, though each passing model year has brought forth some sorts of changes, many of them notable. Now, the 2026 Ford Bronco will continue that trend by presenting us with just a few updates, including the addition of new A-pillar mounted grab handles.

The 2026 Ford Bronco lineup is getting these new A-pillar mounted grab handles as an option, though The Blue Oval hasn’t provided any additional details pertaining to availability just yet. This new feature did make its debut as part of the recently-unveiled 2026 Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary Package, however, which gets it, along with some other unique features including standard wheelbase-length running boards that also help out in terms of ingress and egress.

In addition to those features, the anniversary Ford Bronco SUV is based on the Outer Banks trim, and can be spec’d with either the turbocharged 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost engine or the optional twin turbocharged 2.7L V6 EcoBoost, along with the Sasquatch Package. It rolls on 17-inch Gravity Gray alloy wheels and features an array of Vermillion Red accents, retro styling elements, and can be had in Wimbledon White or Ruby Red. Either way, the special model also comes with a hard-center rear tire cover painted in Wimbledon White with a Vermillion Red Bronco logo.

At the moment, it’s unclear when the Ford Bronco will receive a proper mid-cycle refresh, which was previously reported to be in line for the first half of this year. That obviously never happened, but it’s seemingly just a matter of time before the rugged SUV gets some sort of exterior styling and tech updates that generally come with such actions, along with the potential additional of a hybrid powertrain, as previously rumored.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
