2026 Ford Super Duty Lineup Get Tailgate Lettering Options

At first glance, the 2026 Ford Super Duty might appear nearly identical to its 2025 predecessor, but the heavy duty pickup line is being treated to a handful of subtle updates and changes. The Super Duty is getting an optional backlit front emblem, which gives the pickup a bright point of visual interest up front – and now, Ford Authority has learned that buyers can opt for tailgate lettering options to balance out the bright front emblems, too.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the 2026 Ford Super Duty is getting a pair of tailgate lettering options. This includes matte black lettering and carbon fiber lettering, both produced by Tufskinz. Both options are dealer-installed, meaning they are shipped separately from the pickup and installed once it reaches its destination dealership.

The lettering options are available on every 2026 Super Duty trim, although neither one can be equipped in conjunction with the Lariat Ultimate Package. At the time of this writing, pricing for the unique dark-themed script has been released. However, it’s worth noting that Tufksins offers both as standalone options. The lettering offered on King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims is priced at $39.99, while the kit for XL, XLT, STX, Tremor, and Lariat trims costs $99.99.

Each kit includes “domed” lettering, which physically lifts the script from the pickup’s body. They’re designed to fit over the embossed “Super Duty” script on the tailgate, and can be easily installed. While Ford itself is only offering matte black and carbon fiber, it is available in number of colors directly from Tufskins.

In other 2026 Ford Super Duty news, buyers of the XLT and Lariat trims no longer have access to standard four-wheel-drive (4WD), although 4X4 is still offered as an optional upgrade; rear-wheel-drive (RWD) is now standard on these trims. It also receives updates to its connectivity package, minorly altering its availability. The SecuriCode keyless entry keypad is also back as a factory installed option rather than one installed at the dealer.

More minor updates include the addition of a standard tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) across the board, along with an optional battery jump-start pack. There’s also minor updates headed for its package lineup beyond connectivity features, such as the expanded availability of the STX Appearance Package and Tremor Off-Road Package, which is a late-availability option for certain trim levels.

It also gains the new Kicker subwoofer option, which is a dealer-installed feature offered on the SuperCab and Crew Cab models, and for non-chassis pickups, it’s not able to be paired with the XLT Premium Package, specifically.
