Over the years, we’ve come across our fair share of cool, interesting, and unique Blue Oval vehicles, memorabilia, and parts up for grabs at collector auctions, some more quirky than others. But the various auction sites around the web never fail to deliver even more of those types of unique offerings, and now, we have yet another cool specimen worth checking out, as well as potentially bidding on – this very interesting Ford Model T style go-kart, which also happens to come with a somewhat creepy looking mannequin, for whatever reason.

This Ford Model T go-kart and its, uh, driver are slated to cross the block at Mecum’s upcoming Larry’s Legacy auction next month, though the listing doesn’t provide much information about either.

What we do know is that this Ford Model T go-kart was originally built by Midwest Industries, and it’s powered by a Briggs and Stratton gas engine churning out a cool five horsepower. It’s equipped with headlights and a horn, though the latter feature isn’t working, and the auction company doesn’t know if the kart itself runs, either.

Regardless, this could be a cool piece for those interested in such a thing, whether or not they’re also interested in the mannequin that comes with it. However, this Model T is just one of many Ford-inspired go-karts and golf carts that we’ve seen surface at auction recently, too. That list also includes a 1930s-style Ford golf cart that popped up for sale back in February, offering someone the chance to stand out at the local course – or beach town.

We’ve also seen a couple of Blue Oval style go-karts go up for grabs recently, too – one, a roadster with 1934-style bodywork made of fiberglass. finished in a red paint job with orange flames, as well as another inspired by the Model T, too.
