About Ford Ranger

The 2025 Ford Ranger arrives without major changes or updates over the all-new 2024 Ford Ranger, though it does gain an all-new 2.3L EcoBoost I4 engine. Here is what changed compared to 2024 model.

The high-performance Ranger Raptor is powered by the twin-turbocharged Ford 3.0L V6 EcoBoost, rated at 405 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque on premium fuel, sending power to the wheels via Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission, an electronically-controlled on-demand two-speed transfer case, and front- and rear-locking differentials.

Notably, the 2025 model gets a dealer installed keyless entry keypad, replacing the factory-installed SecuriCode option like The Blue Oval continues to do across its the board.

The 2025 Ranger lineup gets a modest price bump over the 2024 model, up anywhere from $100 to $260 depending on trim level and configuration, with some of those dropping $150. The $1,595 destination/delivery charge remains unchanged.
