The S650 Ford Mustang launched for the 2024 model year, and as has historically been the case, the newest pony car has since been treated to a bevy of new parts and accessories owners can choose from. In the Ford Performance catalog, that list most recently includes carbon fiber spoilers for the GT and Dark Horse in matte and gloss black finishes. Now, with the lightweight material continuing to prove popular with enthusiasts, the S650 Ford Mustang is gaining a variety of new carbon fiber mirror caps as well.

These new S650 Ford Mustang carbon fiber mirror caps are available in two finishes as well – gloss and matte – making them the perfect matching pair for the newly-listed carbon fiber rear spoilers. Those that prefer the gloss look will find those mirror caps listed in the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-17740-MG, while the matte finished pieces are listed under part number M-17740-MM.

Alternatively, pony cars with integrated turn signals in the side mirrors will want to purchase the gloss carbon fiber mirror caps under part number M-17740-MTG, while the matte pieces are listed under part number M-17740-MTM – though all four are listed with the same $605 retail price. In any event, these carbon fiber mirror caps are a direct replacement for the OEM parts, and are made using an autoclave process with pre-preg 3K, 2×2 twill carbon fiber cloth.

Each carbon fiber mirror kit includes two caps, one for the driver and passenger side, and adds a sportier look to the S650 generation Ford Mustang. Coupled with the rear spoiler, that’s even more of the case, and it’s worth noting that FoMoCo also sells a matching front splitter and hood vent, so owners can deck out their rides with more of that stylish and lightweight material – not to mention a set of wheels, if they really feel like spending some dough.
