The Ford Connectivity Package adds a suite of tech features that keep drivers and passengers plugged in on the go, packed with goodies from Wi-Fi to navigation to in-car entertainment. For the first time, that bundle is available on the 2026 Ford Maverick, turning the compact pickup into an office on wheels.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the 2026 Ford Maverick offers the Ford Connectivity Package as an option on all trims, meaning every model is outfitted with the proper hardware to support the bundle’s features. Specifically, the Ford Connectivity Package includes Unlimited Wi-Fi Hotspot capabilities, Audio and Video Streaming, Voice Assistant, and Entertainment.
That package comes at a cost, however. While a one-year subscription is complimentary beginning at the warranty start date, if 2026 Ford Maverick owners want to continue its use, they must shell out for a subscription to the service. The one-time purchase option for $745 ensures service for seven years from the warranty start date, but buyers should note that it cannot be transferred to a different VIN and requires activation via the Ford app.
A slew of minor changes are on their way to the 2026 Maverick. The pickup loses its power sliding rear window, gaining standard fixed privacy glass across the lineup instead. In terms of aesthetics, Black Ford ovals are no longer offered on the compact pickup as a factory installed option after previously being included on the Tremor and Lobo trims, which means blue Ford ovals are standard on all trims. Wireless smartphone charging is also a thing of the past and is no longer offered on any trim.
The standard spare tire is also gone from the 2026 Maverick featuring the Hybrid all-wheel-drive (AWD) system or the 2.0L EcoBoost I4, but it can be purchased as a standalone option on these models. The rear seat armrest cupholders are also deleted along with the power sliding rear window, getting a fixed glass window instead.
However, there are several new colors on the way, and the 2.0L EcoBoost is once again offered in conjunction with front-wheel-drive (FWD). Pricing for the compact pickup starts at $27,145, not including destination freight charges.
