Cradling the naturally aspirated 5.0L Coyote V8 engine, the 2026 Ford Mustang GT offers a number of optional packages. Below, Ford Authority breaks down the bundles offered on the GT trim – right down to content, pricing, and availability.
The GT High Equipment Group, tagged with option code 301A, adds $2,300 to the overall cost of the pony car. It bundles all of the “regular” GT features, along with the following:
Offered on both the 2026 Ford Mustang GT, the GT Performance Package bundles numerous performance upgrades and aesthetic accents. Priced at $5,445, this package includes the following equipment:
Note that if the GT Performance Package is added alongside the Bronze Appearance Pack or Nite Pony Package, the included wheels will be substituted with the relevant wheels from their respective bundle. If the Matt Clear Film Package is selected, the spoiler delete option will also apply. Finally, it’s not offered with the optional engine block heater, mini spare wheel and tire, the 19 by 8.5-inch Premier Polished aluminum wheels, or 20 by 9-inch Premium-painted aluminum wheels.
Priced at $1,195, the Bronze Appearance Package bundles several bronze-themed exterior accents for the 2026 Ford Mustang GT. It’s not able to be pared with the Nite Pony Package and certain wheels, however.
Content bundled into this package is as follows:
Note that when the GT Bronze Appearance Package is ordered with both the Matte Clear Film and GT Performance Package, Spoiler Delete is required. It’s not able to be paired with the following wheels, either:
The cleverly named Nite Pony Package adds dark-themed accents to the 2026 Ford Mustang GT. This package, which costs $1,760, includes a Black-painted roof except for when ordered with Shadow Black (paint code G1). It cannot be combined with the Over-The-Top “Opacity Shade” accent stripe and certain wheels.
Content is as follows for the Nite Pony Package when ordered by itself:
When ordered with the GT Performance package, content bundled in the Nite Pony Package is as follows:
Note that this package cannot be paired with the following:
The Ford Connectivity Package is offered with a one-year trial and requires activation through the Ford app. The one-year trial is completely free, but in order to continue service beyond the initial 12 months, customers can opt for the seven-year purchase option priced at $745. This bundle grants the following:
The 2026 Ford Mustang GT starts at $47,495, including destination freight charges.
Overall, the 2026 Mustang lineup gets a few notable changes, including the new FX Package, which throws it back to the Fox Body Mustang with a host of 1980s-inspired design elements, like plaid seat inserts and Oxford White exterior elements. This package is only available on the Mustang GT Premium trim. However, the pony car also loses its universal garage door opener, but it does gain new seat belt colors and new exterior hues, too.
A perfect hue for the muscle car.
It's quite custom in more ways than one.
Debuting a lot of tech that's standard fare on the modern F-150.
It's hit or miss on these things, isn't it?
It seems like the new owner is trying to make a fast buck.
