The 2025 Ford Bronco represents the fifth model year of the off-road SUV’s sixth generation, for which it receives significant updates and changes, including a revised model line, the addition of quite a few new options and packages, matte film paint protection, and more.

These changes follow the introduction of the Bronco for the 2021 model year, and subsequent minor changes for the 2022, 2023, and 2024 model years

Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2025 Ford Bronco receives quite a few changes and updates. Four trim levels – Black Diamond, Wildtrak, Everglades, and Heritage Limited Edition – are gone. It also gains three new exterior paint colors at the cost of six others, and receives ambient interior lighting as standard across the board. It also gets the new Black Diamond Package and Free Wheeling Package, all-new for the 2025 model year, plus much more.

Powertrain

The 2025 Ford Bronco is offered with a choice of three engine options. The first is the turbocharged 2.3L EcoBoost I4, which can be paired with either the standard seven-speed Getrag manual transmission or the 10-speed automatic. Output is rated at 275 horsepower and 315 pound-feet of torque on regular fuel, while premium fuel bumps output to 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. The twin-turbocharged 2.7L EcoBoost V6, exclusively available in conjunction with the 10-speed automatic transmission, puts out 315 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque on regular fuel, or 330 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque on premium. Finally, the Bronco Raptor offers the twin-turbocharged 3.0L EcoBoost V6 with either the seven-speed manual or 10-speed automatic, delivering 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque.

Production

The 2025 Ford Bronco is assembled at the Michigan Assembly plant, where production began in January 2025.
