2025 Ford Transit

The 2025 Ford Transit represents the 11th model year of the midsize van’s fourth generation. Its exterior and interior styling has remained largely unchanged since the fourth generation was introduced as a 2015 model year vehicle, although the 2025 model year introduces a host of new packages and optional kits.

Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2025 Ford Transit receives minor changes, including updates to its package offerings, including the addition of the Electrician Trade Package, General Contractor Trade Package, and HVAC Tech Trade Package, and more.

Powertrain

The 2025 Ford Transit is offered with a choice of two engines. The first is the naturally aspirated 3.5L port fuel direct injection (PFDI) V6 engine, rated at 275 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The second is the twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost V6, delivering 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. RWD is standard while AWD is optional.

Pricing for the 2025 Ford Transit does not change from its 2024 model year counterpart.

Production

Production of the 2025 Ford Transit occurs at the Kansas City Assembly plant in Kansas.

Seating

The 2025 Ford Transit is offered with a variety of seating arrangements. Regardless of configuration, it features captain’s chairs up front, seating two. The van can also be equipped with bench seats, supporting seating for six to 15 passengers, depending on configuration and wheelbase. The Ford Transit may also be configured without rear seating, opening the van for cargo storage.
