Roush Brand To Celebrate 40 Years At Carlisle Ford Nationals

The Roush brand officially turns 40 this year - a momentous occasion which will be celebrated in style at the 2016 Carlisle Ford Nationals in Pennsylvania from June 3^rd through the 5^th. To that end, six very special vehicles from the Roush Automotive Collection Museum will be brought in for the enjoyment of attendees.

Those six cars are:

• 1969 Gapp & Roush Mustang Convertible Super Stock, purchased in 1971 by company founder, CEO, and namesake Jack Roush.
• 1994 Roush Performance Mustang Prototype 1, built with a 5.8-liter V8, stiffened suspension, and more to demonstrate the company's capabilities to Ford Special Vehicle Operations.
• 2005 Roush Propane-Powered Mustang; a three-time NMRA Modular Muscle champion with a propane-powered 324-cubic-inch V8 and more than 750HP.
• 2008 Roush Performance P-51A, owned by Jack Roush, which features a 510HP, 3-valve, 4.6-liter Roush V8, and a paint scheme which mimics the P-51A fighter plane from WWII.
• 2010 Roush Drag Team Propane-Powered Mustang; another propane-powered NMRA Modular Muscle drag car, with a 311-cubic-inch V8 and 890HP.
• 2015 Chris Buescher Xfinity Series Race Car, which won the 2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series driven by Chris Buescher.

The brand will also be present at the Manufacturers' Midway at the Carlisle Ford Nationals, installing performance parts for attendees.
