Ford Brazil sales decreased again in July compared to the same month of 2018, with nearly all models seeing decreases in sales volume. Only the small Ford Ka – the brand’s best-selling vehicle in South America – increased its sales performance during the month, with an increase of 8 percent between its two available body styles – hatchback and sedan.
The primary reason for the decline decline of Ford Brazil sales is a smaller model lineup compared to 2018, with the Ford lineup shrinking from seven to five vehicles in the South American country. The reduction is due to the fact that the Fiesta and Focus were discontinued at the end of the commercial cycle of their respective generations.
