Over the last several months, we’ve spied a number of 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor prototypes out testing. These next-gen Raptor pickups, wearing various states of camouflage, have given us quite a few details about the forthcoming model, as we’ve covered extensively thus far. But we won’t have to wait much longer to learn everything there is to know about the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor, because it’s set to be revealed very soon.
The Raptor’s reveal will take place in just a matter of weeks, in fact – on February 3rd, 2021, at 11 am EST. And it’s bound to be an exciting one, given all the things we know about the next-generation F-150 Raptor so far.
Based on the all-new 14th generation 2021 Ford F-150, the next-gen Raptor will obviously feature many of the same goodies it offers for the new model year, including a heavily revised interior. But perhaps the most exciting thing about the 2021 Raptor is the fact that it will be making a return to V8 power, as Ford Authority exclusively reported back in 2019.
But it won’t be just any old V8 resting under the hood of the new Raptor. Rather, as we reported last August, the rugged off-road pickup will in fact be the recipient of a slightly detuned version of the Ford 5.2L Predator V8 used in the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, producing somewhere between 725 and 750 horsepower.
The next-gen Raptor will also be available with a modified version of Ford’s new hybrid 3.5L PowerBoost V6, currently offered in the 2021 F-150. However, it’s the V8 version that’s bound to attract the most attention from enthusiasts, and it sounds great, as we’ve heard on not just one, but two separate occasions recently.
In addition to those V8-powered models, we’ve also spied a number of F-150 Raptor prototypes in recent months that have revealed the forthcoming pickup’s front grille design, amber LED signature lighting, some cool off-road tech features, and a new coil spring suspension setup.
We’ll be on hand for the 2021 F-150 Raptor’s reveal next month, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-Series news, Ford F-150 news, F-150 Ford Raptor news, and 24/7 Ford news coverage.
Expanding that lineup yet again.
A way to potentially help avoid obstructions in wet weather.
Increasing a bit compared to the past couple of quarters.
A massive project, but one certainly worth undertaking.
Most companies are transitioning workers back to the office, too.
While the overall market posted a sharp increase in issues.

After seeing the little eggs ram put in the trx (t-rex eating a raptor), I can’t wait to see what Ford has planned lol
Is this confirmation of a 2021 Raptor?
Or, is it possible next month will reveal the 2022 Raptor, available this Fall?
