The refreshed 2022 Lincoln Navigator was revealed last August, ushering in a variety of updates for the large and luxurious SUV including fresh styling at the front and rear, a 13.2-inch infotainment screen with SYNC 4, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, new exterior colors, and new interior themes. One of the Navigator’s new hues is Manhattan Green, which is exclusively available on Black Label models. At last year’s Motor Bella show in Detroit, Ford Authority was able to get an up-close look at the 2022 Lincoln Navigator L Black Label – the longer-wheelbase version of the SUV – finished in Manhattan Green.
The front end of the 2022 Lincoln Navigator L Black Label is where most of the SUV’s exterior styling updates have taken place, as the model sports an all-new design with an updated signature grille flanked by standard adaptive pixel projector headlights. This particular Navigator is also equipped with the Black Label Special Edition Package, which adds a few special touches including a unique chrome grille surround with a black mesh insert and bright chrome, a lower bumper accent, 22-inch black aluminum wheels with Lincoln star hub wheel caps, black painted side mirror caps, and a black-painted roof.
In the rear, new 3D taillights provide a unique display of light that fades from the center outward as a way to welcome the driver to their vehicle, which then fades from the edges to the center as a way to bid farewell.
Production of the refreshed 2022 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator began back in January at the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant, but both models have faced a number of supply chain-related issues in the months since. Most recently, the Navigator’s updated rear-seat entertainment system – dubbed Lincoln Play – was delayed, as Ford Authority reported back in February.
