The sixth-generation Ford Bronco was designed from the get-go to be easy to customize, and true to form, it has quickly become one of the most commonly modified vehicles on earth. Aside from a burgeoning aftermarket, Ford offers a wide array of Bronco parts and accessories itself, a list that has most recently grown to include things like a hood lift kit, matte black Method wheels, a Heritage Limited Edition emblem, and an ARB jack mount kit. Now, we have yet another official Blue Oval accessory for the Ford Bronco to choose from – dual mounted mirror off-road lights.
As it has done many times in the past, FoMoCo teamed up with Rigid to create this new Ford Bronco dual mounted mirror off-road light kit, which – as the name might suggest – adds a pair of four-inch round Rigid 360-Series LED Off-Road Lights to the rugged off-roader, each of which is capable of cranking out 3,060 lumens, or 8,600 ram lumens to illuminate even the darkest of trails after the sun goes down.
This particular kit consists of four lights – each drawing 28 watts of power with a 50,000 hour lifespan – that are made using a black aluminum alloy housing, a heatsink, and a polycarbonate lens for durability’s sake. The kit also comes with a Ford Bronco specific wiring harness that’s optimized to work with SUVs equipped with the factory auxiliary switches, which makes them quite handy to turn on and off without any additional wiring or drilling required.
As one might imagine, the Ford/Rigid dual mounted mirror off-road light kit is intended for off-highway use only, as it’s easily bright enough to cause problems on public roads. Regardless, it should also prove to be quite handy for those that like to go overlanding or off-roading in the dark. Listed under part number M-15200K-BDML in the Ford Performance catalog, this new kit retails for $975.
