Debuting last month, the 2025 Ford Expedition revamps the full-size SUV with refreshed styling inside and out. The updated model features a host of optional packages, and Ford Authority spotlights them all below, including what each package costs and what’s bundled into them.
Because package availability is dependent on trim level, let’s revisit the lineup for the 2025 Ford Expedition. The Active trim constitutes the base model, followed by Tremor, Platinum, and King Ranch, respectively. Now, let’s take a look at what each package has in store.
The Connectivity Package (option code 65B) is complimentary for one year after purchasing the 2025 Ford Expedition Active, Tremor, Platinum and King Ranch. Those who wish for a longer duration can opt to pay a one-time $745 fee when ordering the SUV. This will remain active for a minimum of seven years on the vehicle, and it is nontransferable to a different VIN. No additional subscription purchase will be required after that seven-year period to maintain connectivity if the service is available.
The Connectivity Package includes the following:
The Driver’s Package (option code 59J) is an optional extra exclusively offered on the 2025 Ford Expedition Platinum. For $2,810, this package bundles the following:
Note that this package is included with the Platinum Ultimate Package (option code 17A) and the Stealth Performance Package (19B). The aforementioned 22-inch Ebony Bright Machined Face Aluminum wheels with P275/50R22 A/S BSW tires are replaced with the respective wheels from these two packages.
Also offered on the 2025 Ford Expedition Platinum, the Stealth Appearance Package (option code 60D) is a $3,570 standalone option for the full-size SUV. It requires Black Onyx interior trim (option code EH), and cannot be added in conjunction with the Platinum Ultimate Package. Content is as follows:
Not to be confused with the aforementioned Stealth Appearance Package, the Stealth Performance Package builds on the Appearance Package of the same name, but adds significant mechanical upgrades to the 2025 Ford Expedition Platinum. This package adds $6,545 to the overall cost of the 2025 Expedition, and includes everything in the Stealth Appearance Package and Driver’s Package, plus:
Note that this package cannot be combined with the Platinum Ultimate Package, and requires the Black Onyx interior trim color.
As the name implies, the Platinum Ultimate Package (option code 17A) is exclusively offered on the 2025 Ford Expedition Platinum trim. It requires either the Mojave Dusk (option code SF) or Salt Crystal Gray (option code SR) interior trim color to be selected. Priced at a cool $13,570, this package includes the following:
Power for the 2025 Expedition is sourced from the twin turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, which churns out 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque in standard guise, or 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet in the high-output version, which is included in the aforementioned performance upgrade packages.
Production of the refreshed SUV is slated to begin at the Kentucky Truck plant on January 6th, 2025, as previously reported by Ford Authority. Pricing starts at $63,695, including destination freight charges – a bit more expensive than it was for 2024.
Yet another nice example of the last-gen T-Bird.
It could get a hybrid powertrain option at that point.
Any offers are currently unavailable on redesigned full-size SUV.
And they apparently committed to that poor decision.
Owners have proven to be quite loyal so far.
