The entry level 2025 Ford F-150 XL greets the world with its black coast-to-coast grille, the sole option for this trim level. The STX trim also gets a single offering: the black and dark gray coast-to-coast grille.

Like the XL, the XLT trim gets the black coast-to-coast grille as its standard fare, while the black painted coast-to-coast grille with black mesh and a chrome center bar is bundled into the XLT Standard Equipment Group (301A), a $1,585 upgrade. The XLT can be fitted with either the Black Appearance Package or Black Appearance Package Plus, granting a special black-painted grille, although Ford has not yet released images or pricing for this package on the online configurator.

A chromed-out face decorates the front of the 2025 Ford F-150 Lariat, which features a grille with chrome center bars and a prominent chrome surround as standard. The Lariat Black Appearance Package, which costs $1,000, turns this grille all black.

The 2025 Ford F-150 King Ranch gets a distinct grille featuring a bold chrome surround and bronze inner accents, while the Platinum trim gets a grill with Gloss Black surrounds and Gloss Black accents. The off-road-focused Tremor trim also gets its own grin, featuring a Unique Tremor Style coast-to-coast grille with Active Orange accents.

Finally, the range-topping 2025 Ford F-150 Raptor sports a grille with bold Ford script emblazoned front and center. The Raptor R package – which is a $31,925 upgrade – gets a similar grille, but this one features a red “R” logo beneath the Ford script.

Pricing for the 2025 Ford F-150 starts at $38,710, not including destination freight charges, and it’s worth noting that several trims are significantly more affordable than they were for 2024. Production of the pickup commenced at the Dearborn Truck plant in Michigan on November 12th, and operations at the Kansas City Assembly plant in Missouri, began on December 9th.

  • When I grew up the cheap cars had black wheels, a black grill, and no body trim. So, the black stuff looks like what it is, cheap

  • Ford has went the way of GM cheap one piece grill that really look Cheap. I guess Ford will do anything to make it cheap as possible and charge as high as they want.

  • Need to make super crew stx 6.5 box
And make the best dam rptrucks more affordable cause now they are not and people are switching over

  • The XLT grill screams cheap. It works on a Black truck or with the Black Appearance package, but screams "COST SAVING!!" on all other XLT trucks. The outer ring should be body colored at the very least, or even chrome on the chrome package trucks. The STX looks higher end than the XLT.

  • I have been waiting to buy, but have recently learned that I cannot get a RWD in a Lariat! What mental giant decided that! Dont want an XLT or lower trim level! Thanks Ford, guess I need to look elsewhere!

  • I think Ford has the worst color pallet of all vehicles. Their wheel selection makes no sense what so ever. Plastic Chrome is terrible and the complicated spokes are hard to clean. My 2015 F150 has 6 simple spokes and is a great looking wheel. Please tell me why I can't have a certain wheel with a certain color .

  • I agree that black grills cry low end truck, prefer chrome period. On a side note, Toyota RAV4 is not a pickup truck. It’s a station wagon on steroids, with great sales figures. Ford F-150 still reigns #1 in my book !
