The 2025 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium is positioned as a step-up from the entry level EcoBoost trim. The regular EcoBoost trim offers four wheel options, while the EcoBoost Premium introduces two others, bringing the total to six. Ford Authority breaks them all down below.
The base wheels offered on the 2025 Mustang EcoBoost Premium trim are the 18X8-inch Machined-face aluminum wheels with high-gloss Ebony Black Painted Pockets, which add no extra cost to the pony car. Opting for the Wheel and Stripe Package, which costs $895, grants the 19X8.5-inch Machined-face Aluminum wheels with Low Gloss Black Painted Pockets. The optional Nite Pony Package – a $1,760 extra- adds a set of 19X8.5-inch Ebony Black-painted Aluminum wheels with tires sized 255/40R19W.
Another optional package is the $1,195 Bronze Appearance Package, which contains the 19X8.5-inch Sinister Bronze Painted aluminum wheels with 255/40R19W tires. Finally, there are two standalone options: the 20X9-inch Premium-painted aluminum wheels for $1,450, and the 19X8.5-inch Premier Polished aluminum wheels, which run $995.
As a reminder, the 2025 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium is offered as either a fastback or convertible, and cradles the turbocharged 2.3L EcoBoost I4 engine, which is tuned to deliver 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque.
It’s worth noting that the EcoBoost High Performance Package, which was previously available on the 2024 Mustang EcoBoost trims, was deleted from the order books and can no longer be chosen. That leaves the EcoBoost-powered pony cars without a high-performance upgrade package – at least for the 2025 model year. However, the Ford Mustang RTR is on its way to take the place of high-performance EcoBoost, although it’s not clear when this model will become available.
Aside from that, the 2025 Ford Mustang carries on with minor changes and updates. It does, however, move on from four exterior colors that were previously offered, although it did add a new one called Molten Magenta. In terms of pricing, the Mustang EcoBoost Premium starts at $39,245, including destination freight charges.
It has remained with the original owner's family since new, too.
Three words: tech, advertising, and business.
Another nicely kept example of the newer Ranger.
The '26 Escort is still not happening.
It's always the ones you least expect.
