Ford Authority caught sight of a mold-breaking 2025 Ford Bronco Sport not too long ago: a supposed “Raptor” trimmed variant of the off-road crossover. While it’s wasn’t an official Ford prototype, we commend the owner of the Bronco Sport in question for their creativity. This Bronco Sport “Raptor” was extremely well-equipped, right down to its off-road lighting kit.

This 2025 Ford Bronco Sport was prepared for just about any off-road adventure, featuring a roof rack that’s clearly being put to good use. That roof rack sported something that the stock Bronco Sport doesn’t, though. It was fitted with an off-road lighting kit. It’s not clear what specific lightbar was attached to this off-road crossover, since Ford itself does not currently offer a lighting kit for the Bronco Sport.

The light bar kit looks a lot like the Rigid lighting bundles sold on Ford’s accessories site, but those packages are officially listed as compatible only with the Ford Ranger and Ford Bronco. That doesn’t mean that someone with some mechanical know-how couldn’t make either of these kits fit the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport. And judging by the rest of the modifications present on this off-road crossover, we wouldn’t be surprised if that’s exactly what this owner did.

In fact, this 2025 Ford Bronco Sport featured at least one other element that was lifted from another model, including its Raptor badging. Said emblems belong on the real-life Ford Ranger Raptor, not the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport. It was also fitted with Husky lined fender flares, playing into its off-road-ready expression.

As of this writing, though, The Blue Oval has no plans to make the Ford Bronco Sport Raptor a reality. “This is our team having fun, not a Bronco Sport Raptor,” Ford Enthusiast Vehicles Communication Manager Brandon Turkus said in a statement. “Just like our customers, we encourage employees to leverage the customization superpowers of the Bronco family and continue to explore possibilities.”
