The 2025 Ford Mustang wears many sets of wheels, but with almost 20 unique sets on offer, it can be easy to get bogged down in the catalog. Ford Authority is making things easy by zeroing in on the wheels available for each trim, and today, we’re spotlighting what the 2025 Mustang GT has to offer.
The starter 2025 Ford Mustang GT wheels aren’t anything to sleep on – the pony car wears the sinister 18-inch Ebony Black painted aluminum wheels as standard. Meanwhile, an upgrade is offered in the form of the 19×8.5-inch Premier Polished Aluminum wheels, which cost $995. Opting for the $5,660 GT Performance Pack adds Carbonized Gray painted aluminum wheels, sized 19×9-inch up front and 19×9.5-inch in the rear.
For $950, the Mustang GT can be fitted with a set of Machined with Tarnished Dark aluminum wheels, also 19×9-inch up front and 19×9.5-inch out back. Note that these wheels require the GT Performance Pack. The Nite Pony Package, which costs $1,760, includes a set of 19×8.5-inch Ebony Black painted aluminum wheels. Finally, selecting both the Nite Pony Package and GT Performance Pack is the only way to acquire the Black painted aluminum wheels, 19×9 in front and 19×9.5 out back.
The 2025 Ford Mustang brings about several important updates and changes to the second model year of the pony car’s seventh generation. Matte clear film paint protection becomes available on convertible models for the first time, while Dual Zone Auto Climate Control is now standard on all trims. The 12-speaker B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen is now a standalone option for EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium trims. However, the pony car does lose some previously available features, such as wireless smartphone charging.
Pricing for the 2025 Ford Mustang GT starts at $47,250 including destination freight charges (DFC). The 2025 Ford Mustang is assembled at Flat Rock Assembly in Michigan, where production began in November 2024.
