U.S. Ford Motor Company Sales Up Four Percent In August 2025

Ford Motor Company sales increased four percent to 190,206 units in August 2025 in the United States. Sales increased at Ford and decreased at Lincoln.

FoMoCo Sales Notes – U.S. August 2025

  • Total Ford Motor Company sales during August 2025 increased 3.9 percent to 190,206 units
  • Electric vehicle sales totaled 10,671 units, up 19.3 percent
  • Hybrid sales totaled 18,773 units, up 14.5 percent
  • Internal combustion vehicle sales totaled 160,762 units, up 2.0 percent
  • Truck sales increased 2.4 percent to 105,432 units
  • SUV sales increased 6.2 percent to 81,539 units
  • Car sales increased 2.2 percent to 3,235 units

Ford sales increased 5.0 percent to 181,827 units:

Lincoln sales decreased 14.9 percent to 8,379 units:

During the first eight months of the 2025 calendar year, Ford Motor Company sales increased 6.6 percent to 1,492,905 units.
